Manitoba Amatuer Boxing President Kent Brown is trying to get FN people to go online to vote for the Pepsi Refresh Project to open the Elite Boxing and MMA Academy for Aboriginal Youth in Winnipeg. "It is our mission to provide “fitness for life” in an environment beneficial to positive relationships, promoting self-confidence and self-discipline through self-respect. To help those who cannot afford membership so they to can benefit from our curriculum. Many of our youth and adults do not get enough regular exercise, it is our intention to offer something different than a regular gym membership by offering structured programming that is challenging and fun.  We want to address the large number of Aboriginal youth being brought into gang activity or dropping out of school,” Brown’s programs Overview states.
