Munduruca and Corleta head to Abu Dhabi Trails (One Magazine)

One of Brazil’s top Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ) black belts, Marcio Corleta, was in Winnipeg recently training for a week with Rodrigo Munduruca for the Abu Dhabi Trails Febuary 26th in Montreal, Quebec. Corleta and Munduruca also taught a three day seminar open to students from all gyms in preparation for the trails.
Corleta is a 3x BJJ National Champion, and 2x World Cup of BJJ Champion and trains under Grand Master Flavio Behring.  Some of Corleta’s high profile students are well known fighters like Fabricio Werdum and Mirko Cro Cop.

This will be Munduruca’s third trip to the trails; he won them in '09 and'10. Last year he won the Brazilian National Championships and the World Masters Championships in the Open Class and will be looking to ride his winning streak heading into the trails and on to the Abu Dhabi Tournament itself where he previously placed in the top five.

The next Manitoba Open Jiu Jitsu tournament is April 2nd, contact the Canadian Fighting Center for more information.
