     you might remember me from such films as, battle of the hockey enforcers (2005) , and youtube fight videos, I'm your sports writer, im your point a game, / power foward,  / player coach, / and your starting right winger for the sagkeeng braves. members of the manitoba east senior hockey league . i had shoulder surgery after my last season in jacksonville florida, so whether its the end of my pro career, or a rebuilding year, im taking some time to rehab it. im currently going to the university of manitoba studing rec and liesure and native studies.  When im in the gym though,  im still thinking and working on  new saturday night specials. cause somewhere, someone is still gonna get it yet.

     this section will cover in this issue,  50 players of native, inuit and metis heritage from across canada playing minor pro, junior, and university hockey. there will be player of the month selections for pro hockey based on points, fighting,and team record . i should already have next issues player of the month wrapped after my first three games of the season, getting a point in all games, 29 minutes in pelanties, and helping the team to our first point of the season, but there are runner up spots for next issue.        

    the boneyard minor pro player of the month award goes to veteran kimbi daniels playing for the pheonix roadroadrunners. in 11 games kimbi has 3 goals and 8 assists and is leading the roadrunners with 11 points. the roadrunners are in second place in thier division with a record of 11gp 6 wins 3 losses 1 OT loss 1 shootout loss for 14 points. kimbi has been playing pro hockey even before some of the junior stars featured were born, and all others listed had skid marks in thier gitch, turning pro back in 1990 with the philidelphia flyers..

     The junior/ university hockey boneyard player of the month goes to myles stevens of the swan valley stampeders.myles is leading his team in scoring with 22gp 11g 21a 32 pts 70 pim.  but has his hands full as he tries to help his team to higher than 5th place in a competitive sherwood division.
