Indian hockey and fight news



As teams in the minors leagues are starting thier seasons this weekend, some native players are on the rosters.
Ryan Constant (OCN) is playing for Stockton Thunder, in the ECHL. He attended AHL training camp in Springfield and fought twice, Stockton had thier home opener last night and Constant got into a fight. Cory Courchene (Sagkeeng)is playing for New Mexico Scorpions in the Central League. Chris Coud (Wayway) has 2 goals and one fight with the Seattle Thunderbirds in the WHL. Wacey Rabbit (Blood Tribe) has 1 goal in 4 games with Providence Bruins in the AHL.

First Nation Fighters fighting this weekend include former WBC Youth World Champion Arthur Cook(Peguis), Cook is coming off a loss to 31-0 Malik Scott in Reno Nevada and is looking to get back to winning ways.
Current Champion Larry "Razor" Sharp (Sagkeeng), defends his title in the main event. James Wayka(Wisconsin Ojibway) is relocated to Winnipeg for his boxing career and is fighting in 140 pound action.
Die Hard John Mclean(Fairford) will also be taking and giving punches for your entertainment,

On the World scene, Micheal Bisbing defeated Chris Leben, and Keith Jardine defeated Brandon Vera,
The executioner , Bernard Hopkins, gave a lesson to undefeated current world middleweight champ Kelly Pavlik
